Major Fair


The Major Fair provides a forum for exploratory students to learn about the variety of majors, minors and degree programs available at USU. Representatives from all the departments will be accessible in one location. You are encouraged to come and learn about the different programs USU has to offer.
This event will take place next Tuesday, September 25th in the TSC International Lounge from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
It is a Passport Event, and there will be free popcorn!

Gene Dunford, the Senior Managing Director of Umpqua Bank, will be here to host an info session and to recruit Aggies for his growing team. He’s looking to hire analysts who also have a desire to live in Southern California. Gene will be on campus on September 25th and would like to speak to Finance, Economics, or Accounting majors interested in careers in banking. ASME Industry Tour - Orbit Irrigation


ASME will be hosting a tour or Orbit Irrigation Products. They are located in North Salt Lake. Orbit Irrigation is "The world leader in innovative and high-quality home improvement products." They have in-house manufacturing and assembling of various types of sprinklers. One unique process they have is plastic injection molding; this is not only used to help in the manufacturing of sprinkler parts/accessories but in making things like shovels, chairs, and so much more! Panel Discussion/Presentation

Join USU STARS! GEAR UP in welcoming Stephen Koch, pioneering snowboard mountaineer, instructor and mountain guide. Stephen’s ascents and descents include some of the world’s most notable firsts. He is the first person to snowboard all major Teton Peaks and the first and only person to snowboard on all Seven Summits.
As a veteran snowboard mountaineer, he will share lessons learned from his adventures on Mount Everest. All are encouraged and welcome to attend.

The Babylon Line


An eclectic group of adult students attend the class of Aaron, a 38-year-old writer from Greenwich Village, who is painfully aware that his failed career forced him to take a teaching job. Over the semester, the pupils become increasingly honest in their writing and cracks appear in their small-town community. Troubled student, Joan, strikes up a friendship with Aaron that may turn into something more.
