Family 1st Saturdays - Divya School of Dance

The Museum of Anthropology hosts Divya School of Dance for a day of arts and cultural exchange at the Carousel Ballroom in the Bullen Center located in downtown Logan at 43 S Main Street. Dancers will perform classical Indian dances and provide demonstrations to participants. Other activities and a temporary exhibit will be available from 10 am - 2 pm. Tanner Talks: Featuring poet Edward Hirsch

Panel Discussion/Presentation

Edward Hirsch, celebrated author of nine books of poetry, including the bestseller "How to Read a Poem and Fall in Love with Poetry." He is now president of the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, which offers fellowships to those engaged in any field of knowledge and creation of the arts. Hirsch will also be the guest on Utah Public Radio's "Access Utah" at 9 a.m. Thursday (FM91.5).
