Aggie Lagoon Day

Join us at Lagoon! A favorite of Aggies everywhere, Aggie Lagoon Day returns again for 2018. Join us on Friday, June 22, for a day of sun and fun. Jointly sponsored by the Alumni Association, Regional Campuses and the Staff Employee Association, let’s get together and make sure everyone knows the Aggies are in town! Pack up the kids, sunblock, swimsuits and sunglasses to enjoy all of Lagoon’s rides and attractions including Lagoon A Beach, Pioneer Village and the fabulous entertainment. Complete park information, including maps, parking and hours, can be found at lagoonpark.com. Purchase your discounted tickets on the alumni website. The Davis Pavilion has been reserved for the entire day for Utah State University. You can drop off your coolers, swimsuits and things you want while you enjoy the day. Return to the Davis Pavilion at 6:00 pm for a short program, and of course some Famous Aggie Ice Cream (while supplies last). The Campus Store will also be selling exclusive Aggie gear from 5-7pm. Be sure to grab the latest Game Day t-shirt or one of this year’s patriotic t-shirts. Show your Aggie Pride!

Run, Walk & Roll Fundraiser Race
Fundraiser
The 3rd annual Run, Walk & Roll Race takes place beautiful Elk Ridge Park in North Logan, Utah. The route starts and finishes at Elk Ridge Park, looping through the beautiful neighborhoods. 5K runners will run one loop and 10K runners will run two laps along the route. Race staff and volunteers will cheer along the way to motivate runners to reach the finish line, where there will be fruits and snacks available. Local business sponsors will have prizes to raffle off, and there will be plenty of fun kids activities, so bring the whole family to join! Register early to ensure a spot! Raffle tickets are just $1 and 100% of proceeds will go to the Up to 3 Program. They will be on sale at packet pick-up and at the event. Delicious treats will be available for purchase of $1 and for every treat purchase you will receive another raffle ticket. Packet pickup will be the evening before the race, June 22, 2018 at Elk Ridge Park from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

Alumni Band Season Opener

The USU Summer Alumni Band consists of over 300 alumni of the band program at USU who continue to perform seriously following graduation, many as professional musicians or music teachers. In addition, a few talented students are invited to play, as are USU music department faculty members. Each concert features 45-60 of these Aggie musicians, all of whom donate their services and travel. The personnel changes for each concert depending on musical needs and summer travel schedules of band members.
