Goldman Sachs recruiters and USU alumni are interested in meeting with women-specific organizations at USU. Take advantage of this exclusive on-campus event and the opportunity to meet Goldman Sachs before formal recruiting begins July 1. The panel will consist of Goldman Sachs representatives and USU alumni. They will discuss opportunities for women, daring mighty things, work/life balance, and general career/life advice.

Entrepreneur Leadership Series: Rachel Parcell (Founder of Pink Peonies, Rachel Parcell Inc.)

The Center for Entrepreneurship in the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business presents a series of distinguished speakers in entrepreneurship during the spring semester each year.

On Wednesday nights from January through April, prominent entrepreneurs visit our campus and interact with students, faculty members, and business leaders, and then speak to the community. Each speaker begins at 6:00 p.m. in the University Inn & Conference Center Auditorium.

The series is broadcast to our regional campuses across the state and posted on our website for future viewing. This is part of our commitment to teaching the skills of entrepreneurial leadership and assist with the creation, development, and growth of new business ventures.

Deloitte Summer Leadership Application Deadline

Accounting students interested in opportunities with Deloitte should apply for their annual Summer Leadership Program. Summer Leadership is a 1-3 day conference held at Deloitte offices and acts as the first step in the public accounting recruiting process.

Students should plan on applying for Summer Leadership the summer before they apply for an internship. Consult with your career coach to learn if you are in the right time in your education to be applying.

Applications for the program are due February 27th at 11:59pm.

New York City Career Trip Information Session

Travel: May 7-10, 2019 (Tuesday-Friday)
New York City has long been the global center of commerce and finance. Dozens of Aggies have established successful careers there and we will meet with many of them during our visits.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the trip is by interview.

  • Trip is focused exclusively on career exploration. Therefore, priority will be given to students finishing their 1st and 2nd year and have a strong interest in living/working in a major metropolitan center. However, all students are welcome to apply.

  • The schedule will consist of 8-10 professional visits over 3 days. Attendees are required to attend all scheduled events during the trip.

  • Visits will include: Goldman Sachs, American Express, S&P Global, KPMG, Chubb, RBC Investment Banking, MacKay Shields, Google, PwC, and Berkadia.
    Faculty Leader: Paul Fjeldsted, CFA Senior Lecturer, Dept of Economics and Finance with 20 years of experience in the NYC financial services sector.
