Fireflies in Utah?

Did you know there are fireflies in Utah? Learn about the biology and ecology of these fascinating biolumenescent beetles from Christy Bills, Entomologist at the Natural History Museum of Utah. Christy will be presenting her research on these amazing creatures and providing all the information you need to participate in a local citizen-science project to contribute to their conservation. Sam Robertson, USU Wildlife Technician, will be presenting his research on Utah moose population fluctuations and factors affecting their survival. Learn about how he radio collared moose in the Wasatch and the north slope of the Uintas, how he tracked them throughout the year and the fascinating data he collected.
