Boasting the oldest residential campus in the state, it’s really no surprise that we EMPOWER our students to enrich the lives of others. With more than 200 student clubs and organizations, there are extensive opportunities to engage every student. And for the many students who participate, it isn’t even about getting credit, but about making a difference and moving forward toward a better, smarter future.
Utah State University has over 25 campuses and centers around the state of Utah where you can learn and interact with your
peers and instructors via broadcasting technologies. Your classroom is right next door.
With more than 16,000 students on campus, it's no surprise there are more than 200 student-run clubs and organizations to choose from, including Aggies for Africa, the clogging club, the Polynesian Student Union, and everything in between.
And that number is always growing because students who don't find exactly what they're looking for may start their own clubs. The possibilities are endless. Check out the snowboarding rail jam that students in the entrepreneurship club coordinated right in the middle of campus in 2010.
Student body officers represent the student voice in the discussions and decisions that shape all aspects of Aggie life, both academically and socially. Members of the executive council and college senate not only get great experience and a killer line on a resume, but major stipends as well.
Aggies are encouraged to be active in their community! Many USU courses involve a service-learning component, and students can also explore their personal interests through service by getting involved with one of the service and outreach organizations on campus.
Students looking for leadership and service opportunities, membership in close-knit national societies of high achievers, an endless array of friends and activities, and a house close to campus may want to get involved with Greek life. USU has eight sororities and fraternities, all of which are extremely active on campus.
Welcoming all students, and celebrating and supporting the richness that students from diverse backgrounds bring to the USU community. These clubs and centers enhance students’ academic, cultural, and social experiences.
Campus Recreation offers a wide variety of ways to improve health and wellness. Students with a competitive spirit can join one of 20+ club sports teams (including ultimate, esports, rugby, and much more) or participate in intramural leagues and tournaments.
