USU encourages every student to find their passion, apply their education, and make a positive and meaningful contribution through service and civic engagement.
Community-Engaged Learning
Serving the community is a priority for USU as a land-grant institution. Many USU classes help with outreach by participating in service-learning projects where students put their knowledge to the test while helping others.
USU Student Association
There are more than 200 student-run clubs and organizations to choose from, including Aggies for Africa, the clogging club, the Polynesian Student Union, and everything in between. And that number is always growing because students who don't find exactly what they're looking for may start their own clubs. The possibilities are endless.
Fraternity & Sorority Life
Students looking for leadership and service opportunities, membership in close-knit national societies of high achievers, an endless array of friends and activities, and a house close to campus may want to get involved with Greek life. USU has six sororities and fraternities, all of which are extremely active on campus.
