USU Facilities

Beginning Tuesday, June 18, 2024, Facilities steam technicians will be shutting off the heat to the ASTE Building. This shutoff will last until July 30th. This is necessary to make needed repairs to the boilers within the building. During this time there will be no heat to the entire building. If there are issues with spaces being too cold, don't hesitate to call Customer Service and our HVAC technicians should be able to make adjustments during this time. We ask that you notify additional people within the ASTE Building and plan accordingly.

Scheduled from Tuesday, June 11 through October 2024, 1200 East will be closed from Evergreen Drive to 800 N. Entrance to parking lots at Central Campus Housing and Education Buildings will be unavailable.
Traffic Control Plan

Facilities technicians have identified a heating issue within the Engineering Lab building. There has been a hot water/heating supply pump fail and technicians are working as quickly as possible to complete repairs. Until repairs are completed, there will be no heat to the Engineering Lab building. There will be a follow up email once this pump has been repaired and heat has been restored to the building. We ask that you notify any additional building occupants as needed and plan accordingly. We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.

Scheduled from Monday, May 20, 2024, through September, 1200 East will be closed from 1100 N to Evergreen Drive (Crosswalk for kids will remain open until school is out)
Traffic Control Plan

Beginning Friday, May 24th, 2024,  Facilities Energy Plant will be temporarily shutting off steam to the Lundberg Building. This shutoff will begin Friday May 24th and will last until Friday July 5th . This is necessary to build and attach a new steamline.. During this time there will be no hot water or heat to the entire building.  We ask that you notify additional people within the Lundberg building and plan accordingly.

Beginning Friday, June 14, 2024, Facilities will be closing the TSC bookstore dock to complete final repairs and lay concrete.  All work on the ramp should be completed within 1 week, but due to cement curing the dock will remain closed until July 1, 2024. During this time the ramp will not be accessible to trucks or vehicles. We ask that you please plan ahead for any deliveries and to re-route them as necessary.
