Denim Day asks community members, elected officials, businesses, and students to make a social statement with their fashion statement by wearing jeans on this day as a visible means of protest against the misconceptions that surround sexual violence.

Initially out of necessity, then later by choice, Steven Clark has usually had high deductible health plans (HDHP) for insurance. You know, the ones that cost less each month, but scare the living daylights out of you when you think "what if Suzy breaks her arm?" or "what if we get pregnant?" and the inevitable "how could I ever pay those bills?" He'll walk you through his journey showing what life has been like with an HDHP during less and more expensive years. The goal of this presentation is that you will be better informed and more confident when comparing and deciding on a health insurance policy. Participation in this event qualifies as an activity requirement for the Be Well Rewards.

What is an Engineer's Ring Ceremony?

The Ring Ceremony is the public induction of candidates into the Order of the Engineer, during which the engineer candidates formally accept the Obligation of an Engineer and receive a stainless steel ring to be worn as a symbol on the small finger of the working hand.

What is the "Obligation of an Engineer"?

The Obligation is the formal statement of an engineer's responsibilities to the public and to the profession. The obligation is publicly accepted by an engineer during induction at a Ring Ceremony.

The deadline for applying for the Consulting Minor has been extended until Saturday May 1. Apply now to become a member of the first cohort of consultants at USU.

A minor in Consulting prepares students to manage people, processes and strategies in all types of companies and to consult with organizational leaders. Consulting skills are needed by students in business, engineering, agriculture, sciences and any technical discipline. Students will learn how to manage consulting projects, how to make recommendations based on data analysis, how to implement changes and establish a consulting process to advise executives.
