Customizing Assignments

The "Visual Template" comes preloaded with one assignment, discussion, and quiz per week with the correct due dates built-in. You won't need to add those assignments to the course, but you will need to edit, publish, and possibly rename each assignment that you plan to use. Be sure to delete the ones you don't need . You may also need to create extra assignments like midterms and finals if you will be using those.

Refer to the example assignment, quiz, and discussion in the template module at the top of the modules list in your course for examples and instructions on how to update and build those items. Make sure and "Publish" each item  when you are done to help you keep track of your progress.
